Campfire Heroes, by William Mccracken · last updated 31 October 2026
Campfire Heroes is a town-building game. This page explains what the game collects, why, and how to have it deleted. We don't sell your data, and we don't show ads at the moment.
What we collect
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| An account ID - created automatically the first time you play (a guest account, no name or password) | To keep your towns on our server and back them up |
| Your email address - only if you choose to link a Google account | So you can get your towns back on another phone, and so we can find your account if you ask us to delete it |
| Game progress - your towns, heroes, items, gold, gems and cards | To run the game and keep it fair (the server checks rewards and purchases made with in-game currency) |
| Play statistics - such as time played, monsters defeated, levels reached, the game version | To balance the game and to spot cheating |
| Error and crash reports - what went wrong, the last lines of the game's log, the phone model and Android version | To find and fix bugs |
We don't collect your location, contacts, photos, advertising ID or any payment details.
Who processes it
The data is stored by Supabase, our database and sign-in provider, on our behalf. Google handles Sign in with Google if you use it. Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). We don't share it with anyone else.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. Backups of a town are kept for up to 7 days. If you delete your account, everything above is deleted straight away.
Deleting your data
In the game: Settings → Account → Delete account. Or see how to delete your account without the game.
Children
Campfire Heroes is not made for children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
